SIL logo
This letter is a reaction to the ‘Message from the Editor’ in SILnews 27. You introduce there the new format and the new logo of SILnews. You mention Philip Gregory as the designer of the front page. However, as the designer of the ‘old’ logo, I doubt whether Philip Gregory really designed the logo. The ‘new’ logo has the same basic form(s) and elements as my logo. Would it not have been correct to say that Philip Gregory restyled the logo of Henk DeHaan?
I would like to stress that my remark should not be interpreted as a disapproval of the new front page. I appreciate your wish to modernize the SILnews format.
