This SIL timeline has been build thanks to the hard work of Juan David González Trujillo (ECR Communication and Publication 2020-2024) in collaboration with John R. Jones who compiled all the historical and archived documents.
In addition to the timeline below we also invite you to take a look the
abridged content review of SIL publications and republish articles
(spanning 1953–2022) which illustrate the scope of past contributions
and current directions of the Society. A work accomplished by John R. Jones to commemorate the 100 anniversary of SIL.
