Want to join the committee?
We are looking for enthusiastic and committed people to join the emerging equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) task force of the International Society of Limnology. As a volunteer member, you will help shape policies, initiatives, and programs that promote diversity, address systemic barriers, and enhance the overall inclusivity of our society. Would you like to join?
- You don’t need to be an EDI expert, but you will need to appreciate these values.
- You may have experienced disempowerment in the field yourself or you understand the difficulties of being underrepresented.
- By volunteering in the EDI task force, you will be contributing based on experiences while receiving valuable support from the team.
- Together, we will work to make SIL a society where all its members feel valued, respected, and supported.
