I am a research fellow in the Department of Zoology at the University of Otago. My research interests are the assessment of anthropogenic impacts on lake ecosystems, the structure and functioning of planktonic communities along environmental gradients, aquatic microbial ecology and palaeolimnological reconstruction of historic environments.
