My current research is focused on restoration of lakes and waterfowl habitats and also on the impacts of land use, especially forestry, on eutrophication and browning of lentic ecosystems. I am also interested in aquatic biodiversity, especially crustacean zooplankton.
I am involved in the working committee of the limnological division of Water Association of Finland. As a NR and by that network, I hope to attract and encourage more professionals, especially Early Career scientists to join SIL.
